And to add a final touch of sophistication, mosaic pins are available, offering both strength and decorative flair to your custom knife. Each material is selected for its quality and crafted to enhance the knife’s performance and aesthetics.

Purple Heart ( included)

Purple Heart wood is prized for knife handles due to its striking color and durability. It transforms from a dull brown to a deep purple upon exposure, eventually darkening over time. With a Janka hardness of 2,520 lb_f, it’s highly resistant to decay and wear.

Wenge (add $25)

Wenge wood is a durable and visually striking choice for knife handles. It features a medium brown color with nearly black streaks, which can become almost black when finished. The grain is straight, with a very coarse texture and low natural luster. Wenge is very durable and resistant to termites

Paduak (add $15)

Padauk wood, known for its vibrant reddish-orange hue, is a popular choice for knife handles due to its moderate weight, strength, and stability. It’s durable, resistant to decay and termites, and easy to work with despite its coarse texture. Over time, its color can darken to a reddish/purplish brown, adding character to the handle
